Life with Picasso, Art
I recently finished reading this book Life with Picasso, and there was much in that book that I wanted to remember for ever. So I made some visual notes for myself. This is the first in that series.

Quoted from the book, page numbers to be updated.
Reading Life
I just finished reading Life, the autobiography of Keith Richards and here are some drawings I made while reading it.
Mini break
Some sketches from our weekend trip to Kesroli. We stayed in a real 14th century fort that is now a hotel.

(The brown boy is reading The Beekeeper’s Apprentice.)
This is the view around the fort, which was on a hill in the middle of a valley surrounded by other hills. Just like Mordor.
I’m reading This is not the end of the book.

Reading Hemingway
Books of the Month

The Sorrows of an American, an amazing book suggested by my friend Katrina.

The Consolations of Philosophy, which I am enjoying immensely. It’s really a “self-help book” for philosophers by one of my favorite authors Alain de Botton.
Abol-Tabol
I found an old favorite book the other day – Abol-Tabol by Sukumar Ray. Like most Bengali children, we grew up with this book and know all the poems by heart. Though the original has drawings by the author himself, I really like the illustrations in this edition, and also the typographical titles for each poem. Here are some photos:
