I wanted rest but what I got was work. And in between there were whispered wisdom from far and wide.

A couple of years ago someone recommended the book Crucial Conversations. It lay unread in my Kindle for a good long two years until the other day. It suffices to say that I won’t be reading it a second time – so I made some notes and here they are for your viewing pleasure.

There. Now armed with these insights, you can have all the crucial conversations you want.
You know how you’re always looking for the book to change your life? Maybe this wonderful book “A Tale for the Time Being” didn’t change my whole life, but there were parts of the book that I really liked.
The Alliance Francaise in Delhi has a regular event where writers are interviewed. I went to attend one of them in March.
It’s rare that we get an interview of a cartoonist/author and this session – had Indrajit Hazra interviewing Vishwajyoti Ghosh.
I really enjoyed it. And Indi Hazra was not as accusing as the speech bubbles make it out to be!

The Consolations of Philosophy, which I am enjoying immensely. It’s really a “self-help book” for philosophers by one of my favorite authors Alain de Botton.
