I wanted rest but what I got was work. And in between there were whispered wisdom from far and wide.

It never ceases to surprise me how many firsts are still left in life – a new activity this year was a trip with friends who are artists in their own right. Believe me when I tell you it was most refreshing.

A couple of years ago someone recommended the book Crucial Conversations. It lay unread in my Kindle for a good long two years until the other day. It suffices to say that I won’t be reading it a second time – so I made some notes and here they are for your viewing pleasure.

A couple of months ago we lost our beloved Dida, our mothers’ mother. When I lose someone from my life, I have a ritual of committing to paper all the memories before they grow dim in my mind. This is one of those ritual drawings.
